The Steelers have a young offensive line, so expectations have been generally low. Still, they’ve shown some promise by ranking in the Top 5 of NFL teams in terms of pressures allowed this season.

However, they’ve left something to be desired in run blocking. Running back Najee Harris is averaging just 3.8 yards per carry as a rookie and that’s not his fault alone. Pittsburgh ranks 31st in yards before contact per attempt, per olinestats.com, with the running back being met by a defender 1.9 yards into the average run.

Ben Roethlisberger can’t carry this team at his age. The rushing attack has to be more reliable if the Steelers want to make the playoffs. That means finding an upgrade on the offensive line.

The Eagles have reportedly put former first-round Andre Dillard on the trade block. He’d be a candidate to start at either tackle spot and has even taken snaps in practice at guard.

Dillard would be available for a Day 2 pick.
