Justin Fields make 49ers defense look silly with unreal TD run
Chicago Bears rookie Justin Fields looked like an absolute stud on a 4th-down touchdown run against San Francisco.
This is the kind of play Chicago Bears fans were hoping to see from Justin Fields from the moment he was named the team’s starter. Going up against San Francisco on Sunday, Chicago faced 4th down from the 49ers’ 22 and decided to go for it.
Well, things weren’t there at first for Fields and it looked like the San Francisco defense was going to gobble him up. Instead, Fields recorded his best play of the season, as he somehow made it into the end zone for a memorable score.
Justin Fields rushing touchdown was absolutely insane
Holy smokes, that right there is absolutely fantastic from Fields. It really looked like he was going to be sacked for a loss and the ball was going to go back to San Francisco. Instead, Fields evaded several would-be tacklers and recorded the memorable touchdown.
It was Fields’ second score of the day. The rookie signal-caller was hurting San Francisco with both his arm and legs, as he finished with 175 passing yards and more than 100 rushing yards. Those dual-threat abilities is exactly why Chicago fans are so excited about his future with the team.
Unfortunately for those who made it to Soldier Field, the Bears defense couldn’t get much done going up against Jimmy Garoppolo and San Francisco, with the 49ers leaving town with a strong win. Despite that setback, Fields will have people talking for a while about his 22-yard score.
