1. Evan Engram

Last but not least, the sexiest option on this list would have no question been New York Giants tight end Evan Engram. The only issue here for Green Bay would have been how much would they have been willing to give out to land him?

While Engram hasn’t lived up to the hype with the Giants, he’s a former 2017 first-round pick and plenty of folks in East Rutherford, N.J. are still holding out hope that he’ll be able to turn his career around. With Engram, there’s no denying that drops have been a major issue for him as he’s now in his fifth year with New York.

However, again, the ball comes in a little differently from a guy like Rodgers. Engram has been a little quiet this year catching things from Daniel Jones, as he has 23 receptions, 186 yards and one touchdown to his name in 2021. New York’s offense as a whole has struggled and Jones sure doesn’t look like a quality starter.

The thought of Engram to Green Bay sure sounded fun, didn’t it? With the Packers in the market for a tight end, this could have been a splash deal that would have really gotten folks off their seats. Green Bay is hoping to win the Super Bowl this season. They very well could regret not trading for a tight end of Engram’s caliber if they don’t reach that goal.
