2. Hayden Hurst

Meanwhile over in Atlanta, Hayden Hurst sure would have been a solid option as well for the Packers. Atlanta could have been open to part ways with him too, as the team just used a first-round pick on former Pittsburgh standout Kyle Pitts.

Pitts has wasted no time in being a stud for the Atlanta offense, as he’s caught 33 balls for 484 yards and one touchdown thus far this season. It’s clear that Pitts is going to be a superstar in this league for years to come and he’s set up nicely with the Falcons.

With all of that said, Hurst may no longer be the go-to option for the Falcons, but he’s still got what it takes to be a big-time difference maker in both blocking and catching the ball. On the year, Hurst has posted 18 receptions for 142 yards and a score. Imagine him being featured in an offense with Rodgers?

Rodgers is playing out of his mind right now and he’s doing a fantastic job of spreading the ball all over the field. Hurst would have been a welcome addition for Green Bay and he probably would have been able to develop some strong chemistry with Rodgers early on too. Fans will be left wondering what could have been.
