Saints force three interceptions on Matt Ryan

The Saints defense played a pivotal role in making Tom Brady’s trip to the Big Easy a miserable one. Specifically, they forced three huge turnovers on the seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback, including two interceptions.

Trailing 10-7 in the second quarter, Saints defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson picked off Brady. Five plays later, New Orleans extended their lead 16-7 after Siemian hit fullback Alex Armah for a one-yard touchdown.

Perhaps the biggest turnover arrived at the tail end of the game. With Brady looking to put the Bucs ahead, he threw a pick-six to cornerback P.J. Williams to clinch the victory for New Orleans.

This Sunday, the Saints will face Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan who is prone to throwing multiple interceptions in a game. He threw three in Week 2 against the Buccaneers and two against the Carolina Panthers last week. New Orleans has already recorded 11 interceptions this season, tied with the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams for most in the NFL.

The Saints will intercept three passes from Ryan.
