3. Top fantasy football pickups for Week 10 – Cleveland Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones

The release of Odell Beckham Jr brings a ton of drama to an end in Cleveland, which has arguably been better offensively when Baker Mayfield hasn’t tried to force the ball to OBJ. The Browns’ offensive success relies on running the ball and spreading the ball to multiple wide receivers, making Donovan Peoples-Jones a person of interest.

Peoples-Jones has been battling injuries this season but he did good work in his return from a groin injury in Week 9. Mayfield looked to Peoples-Jones just three times against the Cincinnati Bengals but he caught two of them for 86 yards, with the highlight being a 60-yard touchdown bomb early in the contest.

Game flow worked against Peoples-Jones since the Browns pummelled Cincinnati but he is a preferred target of Mayfield with Beckham gone and Jarvis Landry operating primarily out of the slot. Peoples-Jones received 11 targets combined in his last two games prior to the groin issue, racking up nine catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns.

Rostered in just 12 percent of Yahoo leagues, Peoples-Jones should be added en masse with all of Beckham’s targets up for grabs. Matchups against New England and Baltimore in the next few weeks should prove to be closer contests, making Peoples-Jones a good flex option if you need receiving help.
