With 2020 NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers out after testing positive for COVID-19, the first-place team in the NFC North took a seven-game winning streak into Arrowhead Stadium. Jordan Love made his first NFL start and played better late than early.

He threw for 190 yards and one score but also served up a crucial interception down in the red zone. The Green Bay defense was stellar in a losing effort, allowing just 237 total yards in a six-point setback.

The Titans took a four-game winning streak into their prime time clash with the Rams in Los Angeles. The AFC South leader spotted Los Angeles a 3-0 lead but owned an 18-point advantage at intermission.

Mike Vrabel’s club totaled only 194 yards on offense. But a determined pass rush sacked Matthew Stafford five times (3 by Jeffery Simmons) and picked him off twice in the second quarter – one of those returned for a score by Kevin Byard.

The Cardinals looked to sweep the Niners for the first time since 2018 as they headed to San Francisco without Kyle Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Colt McCoy would get the start for Kliff Kingsbury’s team and Arizona would own a 17-0 second-quarter lead.

It wound up being a big day for running back James Conner, who finished with 173 total yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. The Cards finished with five sacks and three takeaways.
