2. NFL teams that should be on upset alert in Week 10 – Green Bay Packers

The main storyline surrounding Green Bay for the past week has been the unvaccinated status of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who was forced to miss Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs after testing positive for COVID-19. Jordan Love made his first career start for the Packers and looked like he wasn’t ready to play, struggling to move the football against a vulnerable Kansas City defense.

The good news for the Packers is that the loss at Arrowhead Stadium didn’t damage their lead in the NFC North since the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings also lost in Week 9. Green Bay could also get Rodgers back from the COVID list on Saturday, which would allow him to play against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday despite missing the whole week of practice.

The oddsmakers are betting heavily on Rodgers’ return, establishing Green Bay as four-point favorites at home against the Seahawks. The contest got much more difficult for the Packers, however, with the news that Russell Wilson has been cleared to return from a broken finger for Seattle.

Wilson missed three games with the injury but healed remarkably fast, allowing him to get a full week of practice in ahead of this matchup. The Seahawks are a completely different team with Wilson under center instead of Geno Smith and the fact that Wilson will get valuable practice reps while Rodgers won’t could lead to an upset in a must-win game for Seattle.
