1. NFL teams that should be on upset alert in Week 10 – Los Angeles Chargers

Trying to figure out who the AFC West favorite is right now is quite difficult. Part of the problem lies with the fade from the Los Angeles Chargers, who have not looked like the same team for about a month now.

The Chargers raced out to a 4-1 start before getting smacked by Baltimore in Week 6, setting a bad tone for their bye week which carried over into a loss at home to the New England Patriots. Justin Herbert had a strong bounce-back effort for Los Angeles in Week 9, completing 32-of-38 passes for 356 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for another score, but the Chargers still let a bad Philadelphia Eagles team hang around in a 27-24 win.

A big part of the problem for the Chargers has been their league-worst rushing defense, which allows 161.6 yards per game and allowed the Eagles to rush for 176 yards on 39 carries on Sunday. That run defense is a big problem with the Minnesota Vikings and Dalvin Cook coming into SoFi Stadium on Sunday.

FanDuel has only set Los Angeles as 2.5 point favorites, a sign that they know this game will be close. Given Minnesota’s propensity to play very close games and Cook’s potential to shred the Chargers’ run defense this game has upset written all over it.
