3. Top fantasy football pickups for Week 11 – Tennessee Titans WR Marcus Johnson

The hits keep on coming for the Titans’ offense of late. Shortly after releasing Josh Reynolds late last week, Julio Jones landed on injured reserve with a hamstring issue, creating an opportunity for a wide receiver to step up opposite A.J. Brown.

The man who seized the opportunity on Sunday was Marcus Johnson, who caught 5-of-6 targets for an even 100 yards, with the highlight being a 50-yard reception. Johnson led the Titans in targets on the afternoon and the fact that he converted five of them into catches should earn him the confidence of the coaching staff going forward.

The absence of Derrick Henry has certainly raised the profile of Tennessee’s pass catchers, making Johnson a target of interest in fantasy leagues. Jones will miss at least two more games with his injury, including next week’s tantalizing matchup against the Texans, which should offer plenty of fantasy goodness to go around.

Johnson is rostered in 0 percent of Yahoo leagues entering the week and should be an interesting flex play in this matchup. More prudent owners will likely look to stash Johnson on their bench to see if this target share continues for another week.
