28. Duane Brown

Starting left tackles command serious money in free agency no matter their age. That’s why Brown is in store for another solid payday even though he’s currently playing his age-36 season for the Seahawks.

It’s hard to imagine Seattle letting him leave considering just how important he is for Russell Wilson’s protection. He remains one of the best technical tackles in the league despite his lack of power on the perimeter.

Critics of Brown’s game might point to his mediocre run blocking skills as cause for concern, but he makes up for that deficiency with his reliability in the pass game. If Seattle does let him walk he’ll enjoy plenty of attention on the open market.

The smart money is for Brown to remain with the Seahawks on a solid, but unspectacular deal. If Seattle does try to lowball their left tackle he might make them pay by walking in free agency.
