4. Micah Parsons won’t get a sack

Parsons has been nothing short of a revelation for the Cowboys defense this season. The team drafted him to be a playmaking linebacker but injuries have forced him into the intriguing role as Dallas’ No. 1 edge rusher in recent weeks.

Andy Reid and the Chiefs’ offensive coaching staff will be keenly aware of Parsons’ ability to wreck their game plan this week. Expect the former Penn State standout to see lots of double teams on Sunday afternoon.

Parsons doesn’t yet have the pass-rushing acumen to defeat that kind of challenge. His foot speed will give him a chance to track Mahomes down when he leaves the pocket, but Parsons will struggle mightily to collapse Kansas City’s pocket on conventional dropbacks.

The end result will be Parson failing to record a sack against the Chiefs. He’ll still have a chance to make some plays with his athleticism, but his lack of brute strength will leave him frustrated on Sunday afternoon.
