3. Trevon Diggs will get another interception

With all due respect to Parsons, it’s Diggs who has been the Cowboys’ most impactful defender of the season. The talented cornerback has notched an eye-popping total of eight interceptions in nine games on the year. He’ll be salivating at the idea of picking off Mahomes in this game.

Some teams might shy away from Diggs entirely due to his ball-hawking, but that’s not something the Kansas City offense ever does. They trust their receivers to win any matchup they encounter. That bravado will give Diggs a strong chance to get his hands on another interception.

That doesn’t mean Diggs projects to play a perfect game. His aggressive nature might get him beat for a long touchdown if he gets left on an island with a speedster like Tyreek Hill or Mecole Hardman. This could be a feast or famine type of game for the young corner.

Diggs getting a pick will still help turn this game in Dallas’ favor. The Cowboys’ defense isn’t going to keep Kansas City from scoring points, but they can win the game by earning a significant advantage in the turnover battle. One interception from Diggs will help them do just that.
