2. Bears with 2 or more 50-plus yard pass plays

Is it any wonder that an offense that is averaging a dismal 280.7 total yards per game has produced only five scores through the air? The Chicago Bears rank fifth in the league when it comes to running the football (136.6 yards per game). But no team in the NFL is averaging fewer passing yards per contest (144.1).

But this is far from a daunting Ravens’ defensive unit – especially when it comes to defending the pass. The team is dead last in the league in terms of allowing aerial yardage per game. It’s quite a contrast from seasons past and certainly a year ago when John Harbaugh’s squad was sixth in the league in pass defense.

In the 22-10 Thursday night loss at Miami in Week 9, defensive coordinator Don Martindale’s unit was burned for pass plays of 52, 35 and 64 yards, respectively. And don’t be shocked if rookie quarterback Justin Fields and his wideout corps of Allen Robinson, Darnell Mooney and Marquise Goodwin are able to do similar damage to the Baltimore secondary.

Mooney leads Chicago in catches (36), receiving yards (450) and touchdown receptions (2). His longest reception of the season, as well as the team’s, is 64 yards. Could he or another Bears’ performer top that on Sunday?
