1. The Cleveland Browns will not lose or tie the Detroit Lions, they will beat them

This should not be that bold of a prediction, but here we are. Cleveland has not been a great team for the better part of a month. It feels like they will be hovering around .500 for the rest of the year, or until the offense gets healthy again. As for the Lions, they may not win a game this season, but Dan Campbell’s team has come within striking distance more than a few times.

In an incredibly low-scoring game, the Browns will never lead by more than 10 points in this game. There will be times when the Lions bring it within three points, making all of Cleveland nervous about doing one worse than the Steelers did last week. Ultimately, the Browns will find a way to win this early-afternoon window game because the Lions will have no answer for Myles Garrett.

Cleveland will only score three touchdowns in this game, but it will be enough to hold the feisty Lions at bay. Goff will get the Lions into the end zone twice, but a third time will not be the charm. Detroit will have a shot to win it with a field goal late, but a strip sack by Garrett will allow the Browns to avoid utter humiliation by a single point. Cleveland escapes to 6-5 with a 21-20 victory.

Detroit will win a game eventually, but the Browns will not be the team first to fall to them either.
