Some backup running backs were the top players in standard leagues at the running back position in Week 10. Can the same thing happen in fantasy football for Week 11?

What a wild week for fantasy running backs in Week 10. A.J. Dillon was the top player in all standard leagues. Darrel Williams was the top guy in PPR leagues. Those are clearly not the Dalvin Cook, Christian McCaffrey, or Aaron Jones names we are used to seeing at the top of the point standings. Jonathan Taylor is establishing himself as the only safe running back in fantasy football. Everyone else seems to be a wild card.

We’re in the home stretch for fantasy football. It’s Week 11, as most leagues are going through Week 14 this season. That gives fantasy teams four more weeks to establish their playoff spot. Many leagues are seeing parity this season because there haven’t been many dominant players. Derrick Henry was destroying everyone, but now he’s hurt and his owners are in a bad way. So, where can people find the best places to get a sleeper or two?

10 running back sleepers to target in fantasy football this week.

10. A.J. Dillon, Green Bay Packers

A.J. Dillon is the most talked-about running back in the NFL right now. He’s coming on for Aaron Jones in an offense that looked strange in Aaron Rodgers’s return. The thought is Rodgers will look a lot better off the bat with some practice this week. Dillon looked great in relief of Jones last week, and he’s expected to be very valuable this week.

Dillon could get a huge day against the rival Minnesota Vikings. The Vikes are actually pretty good against the run, which explains why Dillon is this far down on the list, but they’ve allowed their share of big games. Joe Mixon has 127 yards and a touchdown. Chris Carson had 80 yards and a touchdown. Chubba Hubbard scored against the Vikings. Minnesota won’t give up a ton of yards, but people have scored on the ground on them. Dillon has to score to be effective.
