Projected CFP rankings after Week 12: Oregon drops out, but will Ohio State overtake Alabama?

Projected CFP rankings after Oregon lost to Utah, Michigan State lose to Ohio State and Alabama get past Arkansas. Could Ohio State move up to No. 2 and cause Alabama to fall in the new College Football Playoff rankings?
The penultimate week of the regular season has reached its conclusion on Saturday, which means there is one more slate of weekend games before the conference championship contests. After then, we will get a better look at who will clinch a College Football Playoff spot.
Three of the top four teams in the rankings all won (Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama) on Saturday. As for Oregon, they lost to No. 23 Utah and have left a Playoff berth up for grabs. With two losses, the Ducks are out of the Playoff conversation.
Here is how the Top 10 of the College Football Playoff rankings will look like.

- Ohio State Buckeyes
- Alabama Crimson Tide
- Cincinnati Bearcats
- Michigan Wolverines
- Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- Oklahoma State Cowboys
- Baylor Bears
- Ole Miss Rebels
- Oklahoma Sooners
Georgia will retain the top spot, as they easily defeated Georgia Southern 56-7. But there will be a swap in positioning between Ohio State and Alabama. The Buckeyes ended the Playoff hopes of Michigan State with a 56-7 win, while the Crimson Tide had to fight until the final minute to defeat Arkansas.
Rejoice Bearcats fans! Undefeated Cincinnati will take the fourth spot in the Playoff following their 48-14 win over SMU.
The two teams on the outside looking in are Michigan and Notre Dame. The Wolverines took care of Maryland by the score of 59-18. The Fighting Irish shutout Georgia Tech 55-0.
The remaining four teams in the Top 10 will be Oklahoma State, Baylor, Ole Miss and Oklahoma.
