Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns could be in play for a new quarterback due to the fact that they have to make a decision regarding Baker Mayfield. Cleveland’s first overall pick is locked in for the 2022 season under his fifth-year option, but there are questions as to whether he is truly the guy to lead the Browns to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.

Entering Week 11, Mayfield threw for 1,990 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 65.4 of his passes. Against the winless Detroit Lions on Sunday, Mayfield completed 15-of-29 pass attempts for 176 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Cleveland’s 13-10 win.

Mayfield has dealt with a bad shoulder throughout the season, so his play has been hindered quite a bit.

The Browns have a stacked young team that would no doubt entice Wilson to consider them as a potential destination if he wants to play elsewhere. Cleveland has the talent, and putting Wilson under center could help them take the leap they so desperately need.
