3. Dak Prescott will still be sacked at least three times

The Cowboys’ offensive line will be thankful they don’t have to go up against Chris Jones this week. He torched the Dallas front for four sacks on Sunday. That stat will have Raiders’ edge rusher Maxx Crosby licking his lips coming into this game.

Crosby won’t replicate what Jones did last week, but Las Vegas is still going to find ways to get a lot of pressure on Prescott. Dallas’ star quarterback went down five times against Kansas City and he’s in line to be taken down at least three times by the Raiders’ front.

The good news for the Cowboys is that getting their signal-caller sacked three times isn’t going to wreck their offensive plan. The key for Dallas will be staying out of obvious passing situations. They can’t protect Prescott adequately on third and long.

Feeding Elliott on the ground will allow the Cowboys’ attack to keep their drives on schedule. Improving those downs and distances will give Prescott more time when he does drop back to make deep throws. Dallas’ offensive line is going to play better this week but Prescott isn’t going to stay upright on every drop back.
