2. Micah Parsons will get two sacks and force a fumble

Trevon Diggs has been huge for the Cowboys’ secondary, but there’s no argument that Parsons has been the best player in the team’s front seven as a rookie. He’s at his best when he’s permitted to be a playmaking linebacker, but injuries have forced him to become his team’s primary edge-rushing threat this season.

Parsons has shown a surprising ability to get to the opposing quarterback from the edge. He sacked Patrick Mahomes twice last week and was a big reason why Kansas City didn’t light up the scoreboard. He’ll be counted on to wreak havoc against Derek Carr this week.

The former Penn State star is in line for one of the best defensive performances of the season against Las Vegas. He’s going to harass Carr for all four quarters and he’ll bring him down on at least two occasions.

More importantly for the Cowboys’ chances of winning, he’s going to force Carr into at least one fumble on the afternoon. Don’t be surprised if Parsons forces the turnover that ultimately swings this game in his team’s favor. He may be a rookie but he’s playing like a star veteran already.
