Let’s break down 10 tight end sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 12.

Week 12 will mark the bye week for a few impactful fantasy tight ends including Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz. If you are searching for a sleeper to start this week, here are ten options.

10. Ryan Griffin, New York Jets

Rostered: 0.2percent

Over the past three games, Ryan Griffin has 22.8 total fantasy points. That is a significant improvement for Griffin, who had 17.1 total fantasy points across the first seven games of the season.

Although Griffin has not produced eye-popping fantasy numbers, he set new season-highs in receptions and receiving yards, while scoring his first touchdown of the season during the three-game stretch. He has breakout potential this Sunday against the weak Texans defense. This season, the Texans have given up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.

Griffin is a streaming option with upside in deeper leagues.

9. John Bates, Washington Football Team

Rostered: 0.1 percent

John Bates started at tight end for Washington last week with Logan Thomas on the IR and Ricky Seals-Jones out with a hip injury.

Bates had three receptions for 23 yards, but he did play a whopping 66 snaps.

Thomas was designated to return from the IR, and he participated in Wednesday’s practice. However, it is still unclear, whether he will play on Monday night. In addition, Seals-Jones is listed as questionable.

If both Thomas and Seals-Jones cannot play on Monday, Bates has streaming upside against the Seahawks’ defense.

If either Thomas or Seals-Jones is active, Bates should not be started in fantasy leagues.
