10 TE sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 12
By Jakob Ashlin
8. Josiah Deguara, Green Bay Packers
Rostered: 0.3 percent
With Robert Tonyan out for the remainder of the season, Josiah Deguara has served as the Packers’ go-to tight end in the passing game, but he has been a relatively quiet fantasy performer.
Last week, Deguara scored his first touchdown of the season in the Packers’ loss to the Vikings. There was another encouraging sign for Deguara’s fantasy value in that game; Deguara out-snapped fellow tight end Marcedes Lewis 46 to 29 percent.
Hopefully, Deguara can continue to expand his role on offense. He is an interesting flier this week.
7. Gerald Everett, Seattle Seahawks
Rostered: 3.8 percent
Since Russell Wilson returned from a finger injury, Gerald Everett has seen a significant rise in targets. Everett has been targeted a total of 12 times over the past two games. Prior to that, Everett was targeted a total of 17 times this season.
Everett’s statistics have subsequently risen as a result. Across the past two games, Everett has 21 total fantasy points.
Everett is in his first season with the Seahawks, and he appears to be building good chemistry with Russell Wilson. He has streaming appeal due to his recent target share.
