1. Top fantasy football pickups for Week 13 – Tennessee Titans RB Dontrell Hilliard

Ever since Derrick Henry went down it feels like the Tennessee Titans have gone through a cast of thousands at running back. Adrian Peterson has come and gone while Jeremy McNichols has missed the past two games with a concussion, opening up the backfield to D’Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard.

Foreman is certainly a worthwhile pickup if you can get him but the more interesting play could be Hilliard, who has demonstrated some impressive burst after getting promoted from the practice squad last week. Hilliard had a huge day against the Patriots in Week 12, recording 12 carries for 131 yards and a score, highlighted by his 68-yard touchdown run at the end of the second quarter.

The Titans have always wanted to be a run-first team but now they have to run more out of necessity with both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones joining Henry on injured reserve. Foreman got 19 carries for 109 yards, so there will be plenty of footballs to go around for both of them.

Fantasy owners won’t get help from Hilliard next week with the Titans on bye but he has at least earned a significant portion of the workload going forward. Hilliard is rostered in just 28 percent of Yahoo leagues and needs to be added as a potential RB2 for fantasy owners ahead of the playoffs.
