Bradley Chubb records first sack of the 2021 season

The Broncos received a huge boost last week when linebacker Bradley Chubb was activated off the injured reserve after nearly two months since undergoing arthroscopic ankle surgery. He did play against the Chargers, but did not log a tackle or any other statistic in his 30 snaps.

Now, it is likely that Chubb will receive an uptick in playing time in a pivotal divisional game against the Chiefs. They would certainly need him to go, considering Kansas City’s offense is explosive once again.

Getting to Mahomes won’t be easy for Chubb and Denver, as Kansas City’s offensive line has surrendered just 20 sacks on the year, tied for sixth-fewest in the league.

Even with this knowledge, Chubb is due to get his first sack of the 2021 season. The linebacker getting it on Sunday can happen.
