Brian Flores’ club limited New York to 250 total yards, sacked Giants’ backup quarterback Mike Glennon three times – twice by rookie linebacker Jaelen Phillips – and picked him off once. Tua Tagovailoa threw for 244 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
With Jalen Hurts hobbled, Gardner Minshew was the Eagles’ starting quarterback as the Birds were at MetLife Stadium for the second straight week. Philadelphia owned an 11-0 lead in this interconference series entering the game and the Eagles’ offense enjoyed a big outing.
Nick Sirianni’s squad totaled 418 yards and Minshew was accurate, hitting on 20-of-25 throws for 249 yards and two scores. The Birds limited the Jets toy 281 total yards.
There was news about Ben Roethlisberger on Saturday via ESPN’s Adam Schefter. More importantly, the Steelers looked to snap a three-game winless streak when they via took on the rival Ravens. Pittsburgh’s offense totaled 93 yards and a field goal in the first half.
But the team saved its best for the fourth quarter. T.J. Watt had 3.5 of the club’s seven sacks. The Steelers held on when Baltimore failed on a game-winning two-point conversion attempt.
