Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras might have set up the most insane goal in recent NHL memory.

The Anaheim Ducks entered Buffalo on Tuesday night to bring an end to their two-game losing streak with a victory over the Sabres. They did just that, defeating the Eastern Conference team 2-0, and this goal played a huge factor in it.

During the second period, forward Trevor Zegras stood behind Buffalo’s net, lifted the puck over it, allowing winger Sonny Milano to bat it out of the air and put it past Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for the goal.

Just take a look at this insane, alley-oop goal, and try not to lose your minds over it. It’s impossible because it was that impressive.

There are still many months to go in the 2021-22 season, but this may very well be the best goal of the entire campaign. Seriously, good luck trying to top this one.

The Ducks gave themselves a two-goal cushion after a shot by defenseman Josh Manson was deflected into the back of Buffalo’s net by forward Sam Carrick.

Anthony Stolarz blocked all 25 of Buffalo’s shots, five of which came on the power play.
