1. NFL teams on upset alert in Week 14 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A two-game losing streak surrounding their bye raised some questions for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but the defending champs have provided some strong answers with a three-game winning streak. Tampa Bay took care of business in Atlanta with ease, taking down the Falcons 30-17 as Tom Brady connected with Rob Gronkowski for a pair of touchdowns.

Winning the NFC South crown is simply a matter of when, not if, for the Buccaneers at this point since they have built a four-game lead over each of the other teams in their division. Brady has made it a point, however, to label their Week 14 matchup with the Bills as Tampa Bay’s biggest game of the season.

The declaration from Brady is likely a motivational play to keep the Buccaneers focused against a very talented Buffalo team that now finds itself in a position where they could fall out of the AFC playoff picture with a poor finish. FanDuel has established Tampa Bay as three-point home favorites, a sign of the sportsbook’s belief that this game will be very close.

The game also means a lot more to Buffalo, which was embarrassed by its failure to stop New England’s running game on Monday night and will look to make a statement about its playoff prospects by stopping the Buccaneers. Brady is aware of this fact and is using his bulletin board material to help his team stay motivated to avoid getting upset, which would damage Tampa Bay’s shot at securing home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.

The Bears should fire Matt Nagy now. dark. Next
