4. Top Week 15 fantasy football pickups – Cleveland Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones

It has been hard to invest in the Cleveland passing game this season with Baker Mayfield’s injury-related regression. Mayfield has been battling a shoulder injury all year long but delivered his best performance in a while against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14.

The improvement from Mayfield was a significant development from Donovan Peoples-Jones, who caught 5-of-7 targets for 90 yards against Baltimore. Peoples-Jones has gotten solid target volume in the past, racking up at least five targets in each of his past three games, but injuries have limited him to just nine games this season.

The good news for Peoples-Jones is that he is healthy now as the Browns are trying to make a late playoff push. Rostered in only 10 percent of Yahoo leagues, Peoples-Jones is a strong WR3 possibility in Week 15 for an enticing matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders’ burnable defense.

There is a game-flow risk with Peoples-Jones, who plays on a Browns’ team that likes to run the football first and could go run-heavy if they build a big lead on the Raiders. This game should stay tight, however, making Peoples-Jones a worthy add for quarterfinal matchups.
