Fantasy Football: 5 bold predictions for Week 15
By Nick Villano
We’re finally here, the fantasy football playoffs! Here are some bold decisions that could give you an advantage if you need one to move on.
This has been a long, arduous season for fantasy football players. This is the first time in the history of fantasy football that it took until Week 15 to get to the traditional fantasy playoffs. Eight-team playoffs will start this week, as well as six-team playoffs where the first two teams have a bye. There are some two-week playoff leagues that might have started last week.
It was a wild week coming into the playoffs. Lamar Jackson devastated fantasy owners with a major injury that likely lost many people their matchups. Dalvin Cook won some games before the Sunday slate even started. George Kittle is ridiculous, and anyone who waited for him to get over his injuries is much happier for doing it. There are a lot of questions going into Week 15, and a COVID outbreak across the NFL is complicating things, but there are spaces to make a splash this week.
Bold predictions for NFL fantasy football Week 15 as we prepare for the playoffs.
Everything is on the line this week. Teams who have dominated all season could be left completely out of the money with a loss this week. It’s one thing to lose to a monster Davante Adams game, but imagine if Hunter Renfrow repeats what he did last week? That’s a crushing blow for anyone on the other side of that beating.
Some fantasy players will want to stay conservative in the first round of the playoffs. They will go with the normal lineup because they don’t want to take a risk that could backfire. However, that could backfire just as badly. Fantasy is unpredictable this year, but there are spaces to take advantage. Here are a few predictions that are so bold they just might work.
