4. David Montgomery, Chicago Bears (vs. SEA)

David Montgomery’s hot start to the 2021 season was derailed by an early-season knee injury, but he’s since returned to being a solid fantasy contributor, finishing as the RB18 in fantasy leagues since his return. Although there is much left on the table due to Chicago’s bad offense, Montgomery has been a serviceable RB2 when he’s played this year. The positive news is that his snap count when active has him at essentially a full-time player.

This week, however, he has the potential to be more of an RB1 for fantasy managers when he takes on the 21st-ranked Seattle run defense, who allow the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs this season. If the game flow works out in Montgomery’s favor, he has top-10 upside this week, so stick with him even on a bad offense.
