Bold Prediction #1: Believe in Dallas Cowboys offense

There’s a good chance that the Dallas Cowboys may have lost some people in their fantasy playoff matchup last week. Dak Prescott got less than 11 points in this matchup with the dreadful New York Giants. Since Week 10, Prescott has been outside the top 20 in fantasy points in every week except one. Amari Cooper had five targets for eight years. Ezekiel Elliott had 52 yards and a touchdown, so that’s fine but nothing you really want to brag about from your first-round pick in the playoffs. Ceedee Lamb had six catches for 50 yards.

It was the most ho-hum performance of the season when considering the team the Cowboys were facing was a pathetic Giants team led by Mike Glennon. If they can’t do it then, when can you trust the Cowboys’ offense?

This is the week to trust them. Washington’s defense has been worlds better as of late, but there are still holes there. They’ve allowed 53 catches over the past month for roughly 600 yards and three touchdowns. The Dallas wide receiving core is going to want to bounce back from last week. Even though Lamb was fine on the score sheet, he had two huge drops that put a spotlight on him. Cooper needs to prove he’s not losing a step with the Cowboys staring at a big contract decision this offseason.

Elliott and Tony Pollard are both startable, as well. The Cowboys are going to be closer to a 50-50 split. They can both perform at a high level, and Washington has given up 26 receptions to running backs over the past four games. There are plenty of points to go around for the Cowboys offense.
