Fantasy Football: 5 bold predictions for Week 16
By Nick Villano
It’s the second week of the fantasy football playoffs, and this is where the best of the best battle for a spot in the championship. Where should you look to get a leg up?
If you’re reading this, you are one of two kinds of readers. Either you made it past the first round of your fantasy football playoffs (or have a strange format that has a two week playoff), or you are entertained by the site of fantasy predictions. Either way, welcome, and congratulations to the former group. Week 15 was wild. COVID cases put some lineups in flux. There were games on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, extending this to the longest fantasy week of the season. In fact, as we’re writing this, Week 15 isn’t over.
There are a lot of decisions to make this week. Teams that are usually dominant might have to go deep in the bench to make the right decisions in their lineup. Some big names could be out. The New England Patriots are going into their matchup with the Buffalo Bills with only two wide receivers available. If their last game is any clue, they will be fine. Also, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Allen Robinson, Baker Mayfield, Kadarius Toney, and Taylor Heinicke are all still on the COVID list and could miss the week. That list could grow as more testing is done.
