Pick Analysis. Offensive Coordinator. Buffalo Bills. Scouting Report. 1. player. 16. Brian Daboll

Brian Daboll is the perfect head coach to pair with a dual-threat quarterback

The best choice to replace Matt Nagy is a first-time head-coaching candidate: Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. While it was odd to not see him get a job last offseason, all it has done is strengthened his resume to be a prime candidate for this cycle. Though Justin Fields is not as talented as Josh Allen, who was Allen in the NFL before Daboll got his hands on him?

Daboll has shown he can coordinate an offense with an elite dual-threat quarterback. While the Bills have next to running game outside of Allen, Chicago has shown in recent years it can move the sticks with an effective ground game. Quarterback play and head-coaching malpractice have long been their biggest issues. Daboll is the perfect head-coaching candidate to try and fix this.

If the Bears ever want to get this thing right, they need a head coach/quarterback tandem it can lean on. Not to say Daboll and Fields will be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it will be without question better than the utter madness all of Chicagoland had to endure with Nagy and Mitchell Trubisky seemingly turning chicken salad into chicken mess for all the NFL world to see.

Pairing Fields with Daboll gives the Bears an honest chance at having quarterbacking success.
