7. Boston Scott – Philadelphia Eagles

The season of bad luck continues for Miles Sanders, as he is going to miss this week for the Philadelphia Eagles. He broke his hand last week, and now he’s going to miss at least this game and it’s likely he misses the rest of the regular season. Boston Scott is the one running back that isn’t on the injury report. Even Jordan Howard suffered a stinger and has been limited in practice this week.

Scott has been good in the past, but he’s also burned us pretty bad. He’s had games where the Eagles don’t even give him the ball. Scott deserves another chance. Philadelphia is facing a Washington defense that isn’t very good. They are better against the run than they are against the pass, but the run game will still have a role this week in the Eagles game plan. Scott is the last running back that is coming into this week with a clean slate, so it’s worth giving him a chance.

6. James Conner – Arizona Cardinals

As we said earlier, Chase Edmonds was great for the Arizona Cardinals last week. He came back from injury in a big way as the Cards are trying to stop the bleeding from their season. They did clinch a playoff spot, but they are fifth in the NFC after leading the way for most of this season. Injuries have really thrown things off across the board.

This week, the Cardinals are going back to their roots of winning from earlier in the season. James Conner is going to score twice. The Cards are taking on the Dallas Cowboys who have a phenomenal rushing defense, but Conner isn’t trying to get a ton of yards. The Cards passing offense will get big plays, and Conner will pound the rock into the end zone.
