Pick Analysis. Utah. 54. Scouting Report. LB. Devin Lloyd. 19. player

Devin Lloyd addresses the third level of the Eagles defense

Philly took an edge rusher and cornerback, so why not look to the middle of the defense with someone like Devin Lloyd. The Eagles actually got much better linebacker play than expected this year but Lloyd is a far more talented and better player for the future.

Scouting Report. North Carolina. Sam Howell. player. 55. Pick Analysis. QB. 20

Steelers replace Ben Roethlisberger by taking Sam Howell

Along with Spencer Rattler, who is now transferring to South Carolina, Sam Howell was considered the second-best quarterback prospect in this draft class coming into the year. The UNC product can use his legs to create but has some inconsistencies. Still. he’s a better long-term option that someone like Mason Rudolph to be Big Ben’s successor in Pittsburgh.

Scouting Report. 21. player. LB. Georgia. Nakobe Dean. 47. Pick Analysis

Patriots will love having Nakobe Dean patrolling at linebacker

The Patriots defense remains a strength and, while wide receiver would make sense, they look to keep strong on D with Nakobe Dean. A heat-seeking missile in the middle of the field, the former Bulldog could be a superstar working under Bill Belichick.

22. Scouting Report. WR. Treylon Burks. Arkansas. player. 59. Pick Analysis

Dolphins give Tua all the help he could want with Treylon Burks

(Pick via 49ers) – The fact of the matter is that Miami has a lot more needs than we previously thought. They could look at the offensive line (and maybe should), but it’s also clear Tua needs more help from pass-catchers. Pairing the physically imposing Burks with Jaylen Waddle could be something special.

Scouting Report. Texas A&M. player. Pick Analysis. IOL. Kenyon Green. 23. 28

Raiders keep reshaping the offensive line by adding Kenyon Green

With Richie Incognito not playing this past season, it’s clear the Raiders need big answers long-term in the trenches. Green is a mauler who should fit the long-standing identity we’ve come to know from the silver and black.

Kaiir Elam. 24. player. Pick Analysis. CB. Florida. 32. Scouting Report

Kaiir Elam addresses a big Cardinals weakness at cornerback

Some analysts might have another cornerback ahead of Elam but I believe the former Gator is being penalized slightly by how poorly Florida’s season went. With that said, his tools and film show a player who can compete with the best and be a stalwart for Arizona’s defense.

25. player. 56. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Nicholas Petit-Frere. Ohio State

Bengals finally take the OT they need with Nicholas Petit-Frere

It turns out, the Bengals weren’t wrong for taking Ja’Marr Chase with the fifth-overall pick last year instead of Penei Sewell. The need at tackle remains, though, and the Ohio State product has the traits that should allow him to further upgrade Joe Burrow’s protection.
