Pick Analysis. IOL. Iowa. 26. Scouting Report. Tyler Linderbaum. player. 16

Bills fortify the interior of the O-line by taking Tyler Linderbaum

If Linderbaum was as dominant as a tackle as he is at center, the Iowa product would be a top-10 pick running away. The fact that he’s on the interior works in Buffalo’s favor, though, as a potential star lineman at a spot where they need youth falls into their laps.

50. Scouting Report. Auburn. player. 27. Pick Analysis. CB. Roger McCreary

Lions keep building up the defense by landing Roger McCreary

(Pick via Rams) – Detroit got a great player at No. 2 with Thibodeaux but their needs are far-reaching. They don’t, however, reach for a quarterback as they go to the defense again. McCreary might not be the star some other prospects are but the Auburn product can be a reliable NFL starter.

Michigan. 28. 123. Scouting Report. S. Daxton Hill. player. Pick Analysis

Cowboys fans rejoice with Daxton Hill finally serving the need at safety

Dallas making a monumental leap on defense has been huge in the 2021 season but it’s worth noting that guys such as Jayron Kearse have played at almost unsustainable levels. Dax Hill can change that as a versatile move piece that should be a dream for Dan Quinn to work with (if he stays around).

Ohio State. Chris Olave. 29. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. 124

Chiefs give Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce passing game help with Chris Olave

After losing guys like Sammy Watkins this offseason, we saw the Chiefs offense take a slight step back. That changes with this pick, though, as they add Olave to the mix. The Ohio State product can be the possession threat that pairs perfectly with the duo already in place.

30. Pick Analysis. Jameson Williams. Alabama. player. 48. Scouting Report. WR

Buccaneers fill a potential hole at wide receiver with speedy Jameson Williams

There’s at least a chance that Chris Godwin could leave Tampa Bay in free agency this offseason and we all know what happened with Antonio Brown. Jameson Williams is a burner of the highest order and could be an elite threat playing opposite of Mike Evans.

31. Alabama. Christian Harris. 35. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. LB. player

Christian Harris fills a big Titans need at linebacker

Missing on Rashaan Evans a few years ago in the first round hasn’t limited the Tennessee defense too much but it does make life a bit harder on that side of the ball. They get another Alabama linebacker here with Harris, a player who has high-quality tools and, frankly, is getting slept on a bit too mcuh.

player. 49. Penn State. WR. Jahan Dotson. 32. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Packers get a first-round wide receiver in Jahan Dotson, Aaron Rodgers or not

My gut tells me that Aaron Rodgers stays in Green Bay but, even if he doesn’t, the need at receiver persists. If Rodgers and Davante Adams stay, Jahan Dotson could be a great complementary threat in the passing game. If they leave, Dotson is still a high-end target for Jordan Love and Co.
