Lee Corso headgear pick for the National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia in a rematch of the SEC Championship Game.
The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs are set to face off in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. For the second time this year, Alabama and Georgia will meet.
As expected, ESPN’s College GameDay crew is on-site at Lucas Oil Stadium and making their predictions. That includes College GameDay legend Lee Corso and his famed headgear pick.
Corso is 13-5 so far this season with his headgear picks, which is a pretty solid record. Before the year began, Corso chose Georgia to win the national title, though he did pick the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game.
Lee Corso goes with Georgia for his headgear pick for the National Championship
While some may be a little concerned about Corso’s age and health, he still appears energetic and enthusiastic about college football. He sure seems to be having one heck of a good time previewing and making predictions.
With his prediction for tonight’s game, Corso is sticking with his preseason pick and picked Georgia.
While this game is a rematch of a matchup from earlier this season, it also serves as a rematch of a national championship from a few years back. Alabama beat Georgia at the end of the 2017 season in a comeback. So, there’s a lot of focus on this game from both parties. Georgia fans have to be hoping that Corso’s pick will hold true.
