4. JT Daniels will replace Stetson Bennett

Stetson Bennet guided Georgia to the national title game and there’s no universe where he shouldn’t start for the Bulldogs in this one. The question is whether he’ll finish it.

There are multiple scenarios where Bennett could be replaced by backup JT Daniels, who won the starting job coming out of camp. One of them would be a mirror to what happened at Alabama a few years ago when Tua Tagovailoa took over for Jalen Hurts in the title game against Georgia in 2018.

If Georgia trails in the second half, Smart could make the bold move to put Daniels in. Whether or not it would pay off is another question.

3. Brian Robinson Jr. will rush for 100+ yards

Georgia was undone by Alabama’s explosive passing offense the last time they faced off. You can bet the Bulldogs will be hyper-focused on keeping Bryce Young and Jameson Williams bottled up this time.

The trouble with facing Alabama is they have weapons all over the field. It’s a pick-your-poison deal.

Tide running back Brian Robinson Jr. had 55 yards on 16 carries against Georgia last time. Look for him to set the tone on the ground with another big game coming off 204 yards against Cincinnati.
