Dallas has no issues at the defensive end/edge rusher position, as evidenced by the explosive play of rookie Micah Parsons. But, the Cowboys can stand to add a defensive tackle this offseason. If they are to consider signing one, they should look towards a player they knew quite well in the Wild Card Round — San Francisco’s D.J. Jones.

Entering the playoffs, Jones recorded career-highs in combined tackles (56), solo tackles (40), tackles for loss (10) and forced fumbles (two).

When facing the Cowboys, Jones recorded a solo tackle, a tackle for loss, a sack and a quarterback hit.

Dallas should take a look at signing San Francisco’s 2017 sixth-round draft pick once the new league year begins in March.
