The Cowboys have a bit of a conundrum at the wide receiver position.

CeeDee Lamb is still under contract entering next season. Amari Cooper technically is too, but team owner Jerry Jones’ critical comments do open the door for a potential release or trade in the 2022 league year. Not to mention that Michael Gallup, who is recovering from a torn ACL, and Cedrick Wilson are set to be unrestricted free agents this offseason.

Dallas should be in the market for a wide receiver. Could they go all out for Davante Adams or Chris Godwin? Possibly. But if they want an explosive option at a relatively cheaper cost,. they should be eyeing Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham is having a career resurgence in Los Angeles ever since he mutually agreed to part ways with the Cleveland Browns midway through the regular-season. In eight games, Beckham caught 27-of-48 targets for 305 yards and five touchdowns.

Once the playoffs began, Beckham showed what he can do, as he caught all four of his targets for 54 yards and a touchdown, in addition to throwing a 40-yard pass to running back Cam Akers, in Los Angeles’ 34-11 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

According to Spotrac, Beckham is projected to earn an annual average of $5.6 million. The former New York Giants wideout should be an option for the Cowboys this offseason.
