2. Deebo Samuel has a rushing and receiving touchdown

During their win against the Green Bay Packers, the 49ers struggled mightily to get the ball moving on offense, scoring only one touchdown to go along with two field goals. Against the Rams, the game plan has to be to get the ball into Deebo Samuel’s hands early and often, whether through the air or on the ground.

Based on the fact that he is such a huge part of their offense, and can hurt teams in so many ways, I like Samuel to find the end zone multiple times on Sunday. In fact, there is a good chance he takes a jet sweep to the house, and burns the defense for a receiving touchdown, providing the 49ers with incredible offensive firepower.

1. The game is won on the final play

As has been the theme of this year’s postseason, especially during the Divisional Round, this game is going to come down to the final play. Whether it is a field goal, an overtime touchdown, or even a score at the end of regulation, you can expect these two teams, who know so much about each other, to play an epic game on Sunday night.

In the end, I believe that the team with the better quarterback will win based on how evenly matched they are. The Rams pass rush will eventually get to Jimmy G, causing some crucial turnovers, and Stafford and this explosive offense are going to capitalize.

In the end, Matt Gay blasts one through the uprights as time expires to send the Rams to the Super Bowl for the second time in the last four years.

Prediction: Rams 27, 49ers 24
