Did Tom Brady snub the Patriots, Bill Belichick in his retirement announcement?

Tom Brady did not mention the New England Patriots once in his retirement announcement.
Despite playing 20 years for the New England Patriots, Tom Brady did not mention his former team once in his lengthy retirement announcement on Instagram Tuesday morning.
Brady recognized key members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization, whether that be the Glazer Family, head coach Bruce Arians, general manager Jason Licht and other former teammates of his. He thanked his family, his representation and trainer Alex Guerrero. Despite their being nine pages on this lengthy Instagram post, there was not a single mention of the Patriots organization.
There could be another special announcement coming, but there was no love for the Patriots on this particular Instagram post.

Is there a chance Brady got lost in the moment? Potentially, but the man has a proven track record of being very calculated. He picked Tampa Bay for his final two NFL seasons for a reason: They had a sneaky-good roster without a proven star quarterback. Brady delivered the Buccaneers their second Super Bowl championship in franchise history only after winning six with the Patriots.
Ultimately, nobody knows the intricacies and finer details Brady has with his former team. Was the breakup very public? Definitely, but this is the franchise he is best associated with. Time heals all wounds, but Brady may have some unresolved issues over how things ended in Foxborough. It would be a shame if the greatest quarterback of all time does not feel welcome in New England.
Indisputably, Brady will be a first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee in the Class of 2027.
