Paul Millsap could be on the move soon and the Los Angeles Lakers have been listed as a possible destination for him.

What does the future have in store for veteran forward Paul Millsap? Things are a bit up in the air, but we do know that he won’t be suiting up for the Brooklyn Nets much longer. Per Shams Charania, the two agreed to part ways late last month. It just hasn’t been a good fit for him.

So, where could we see Millsap balling out next? According to Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer, the Los Angeles Lakers are surely a team to watch out for leading up to next week’s NBA trade deadline.

Could Paul Millsap make his way to the LA Lakers before the deadline?

Fischer noted that Millsap would prefer a move to Chicago to play for the Bulls, but a move to LA could end up happening as well. For the Lakers, this team is in serious need of a turnaround. As things stand, the Lakers are 25-27 on the season and in ninth place of the Western Conference standings.

Who in the world saw this coming from the Lake Show? While this team has dealt with plenty of injuries this campaign – of course including LeBron James and Anthony Davis – no one expected them to be two games under .500 at this point in the season.

With that said, there’s still hope this squad can get back on the right track. Millsap alone can’t fix this team’s problems, but he most certainly could make an impact if given the shot to play some key minutes. We’ll see how things end up shaping out for Millsap, but he could be on the move here pretty soon.

Next. LeBron James is set to pass Kobe Bryant in another key stat. dark
