7. Joe Flacco

History is going to show that Flacco winning a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens is nothing short of stunning.

Flacco was on fire back in the 2012 postseason, throwing 11 touchdowns against zero interceptions. The former University of Delaware star was able to defeat Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in the AFC playoffs before taking down Colin Kaepernick and the loaded San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.

In the immediate aftermath of his championship run, Flacco was awarded with a six-year, $120 million deal which might be the worst current contract in the league. Baltimore has only reached the playoffs once in the five years since, due in large part to Flacco’s large cap number and declining skills.

In an era that has seen interception numbers held down thanks to favorable rules, Flacco has managed to hit the double-digit mark in picks each year of his career. Last season, Flacco threw for an atrocious 5.72 yards per attempt despite having Mike Wallace, one of the NFL’s premier deep threats, on the roster.
