Denver Broncos

The Broncos have been heavily linked to Aaron Rodgers and they may very well break the bank to try to get him. It worked out for them before going all-in on Peyton Manning.

Still, Rodgers’ situation is fluid. There is still a decent chance he’ll stick with the Packers. They could get outbid or he could choose another destination.

Is it ideal for Denver to take another flier on a free agent quarterback who they’re praying they can get more out of this time? Maybe not.

Is Wentz better than Drew Lock? Absolutely.

Lock has been in the league for three years and has a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 25-20. As flawed as Wentz may be, he’s an upgrade on what the Broncos have had.

They could do a lot worse than bringing him in and giving him that third chance to succeed in the NFL. The third time could be the charm.
