Last offseason, the Raiders revamped their defensive line in a big way, bringing in free agents like Darius Philon, Solomon Thomas, and Quinton Jefferson. All three men played well alongside Johnathan Hankins, but all three men will enter free agency once again this offseason.

That means that the Raiders could be making wholesale changes up front along the defensive line once again, and they could end up using multiple draft picks on defensive tackle. New defensive coordinator Patrick Graham likes to run a 3-4 defense, and Arkansas star John Ridgeway has the versatility to play in that scheme.

In fact, he can be a guy who comes in and can give both Yannick Ngakoue and Maxx Crosby a breather on the outside, making him a very interesting prospect in this year’s draft. Las Vegas will focus heavily on the defense this offseason, as the offense has very few holes, and Ridgeway could give them some cap flexibility.
