Patrick Mahomes reacts to idiotic Brittany Matthews rumor.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes responded on Twitter to a bogus report about his fiance and brother. The rumor was originally reported by Rich Ohrnberger on Twitter and has since been deleted but basically said that Mahomes had asked his fiance Brittany Matthews and his brother Jackson Mahomes to stop coming to games as their “antics” has become distracting.

But it turns out, it wasn’t true.

“Per source, I’m told this didn’t take place,” FanSided’s Matt Verderame reported on Friday. “There was a bizarre incident yesterday morning in which myself and another high-ranking insider were texted this exact information from a person erroneously claiming to be an NFL source. With respect to Rich, we were told it’s untrue.”

Patrick Mahomes just has to laugh at recent rumor about his fiance and brother

Now Mahomes has taken to Twitter to react to the viral tweet and the backlash against Matthews.

“Y’all just be making stuff up these days,” Mahomes tweeted with a bunch of laughing emojis. Matthews quote tweeted it writing, “Legit.” Jackson Mahomes has yet to react on Twitter to the rumors.

Next. Stop it, Patrick Mahomes didn’t tell anyone to stop attending Chiefs games. dark
