Another AFC contender that should be in the market for a running back are the Buffalo Bills.
The team was just seconds away from defeating their rivals in the Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round. Yet, it was Kansas City who advanced to the AFC Championship Game due to the late-game heroics of quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Even with the loss, the Bills showed that their championship window is nowhere near closing with how Josh Allen played.
With this, the Bills need to bolster up their depth chart. One area that needs some improvement is at running back. Buffalo accumulated 129.9 rushing yards per game, which was the sixth-most in the league. However, Allen attributed heavily to that by running for 763 yards and six touchdowns on 122 carries. Devin Singletary recorded 870 yards and seven touchdowns on 188 attempts.
Much like the Chiefs, the Bills need to add an established runner in their backfield. That an go a long way in taking the pressure off of Allen and create a more well-balanced offense.
