Jordan Davis

Human beings the size of Jordan Davis shouldn’t be allowed to move the way the 341-pound Georgia defensive tackle can move.

Davis ran his 40 in just 4.78 seconds. He had a 32-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-3 broad jump.

Let’s put those results into context: Davis’ 40 was faster than quarterbacks Brock Purdy, Bailey Zappe and Jack Coan. He was just 0.05 seconds slower than Kenny Pickett.

His vertical matched wide receivers like Slade Bolden from Alabama and Chris Olave from Ohio State. His broad jump was better than Michigan State running back Kenny Walker III and on par with Ohio State receiver Garrett Wilson.

At 341 pounds!

Matt Araiza

It’s not often punters draw headlines at the NFL Combine but the Punt God himself was determined not to disappoint.

He’s known for his ability to boom punts and he did just that with a display of his power kicking that has no match.

When a guy can hit an 80-yard punt and keep it out of the endzone, it’s pretty impressive.

He also did a bunch of other drills to prove his overall athleticism as a former soccer player. His 40-yard dash of 4.68 seconds was a plus while his vertical of 32 inches and broad jump of 10-foot-1 were a nice showing.

A team can draft Araiza knowing he’s a willing defender on punt returns and kickoffs as well as a potential threat on fakes.
