J.C. Jackson calls out Raiders and Davante Adams
New Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson went ahead and let Davante Adams know he’s not scared of him in the slightest.
Leave it to new Los Angeles Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson to make the rivalry with the Las Vegas Raiders even more interesting. From the moment Jackson inked his contract with the Chargers, he’s been all in with the team and spoken with swagger.
That was exactly the case with his latest message to the Raiders. Even though the team signed arguably the best wideout in the game in Davante Adams, Jackson could care less about that. He’s going to be ready to try and shut down Adams whenever they go to battle.
J.C. Jackson is looking forward to taking on Davante Adams
Chargers fans are loving that quote from Jackson, as he knows that just because Las Vegas signed Adams, that doesn’t mean they’re suddenly going to be a mighty power and walk away with the AFC West title.
The Chargers are ready to dethrone the Chiefs at the top and the head-turning moves – including signing Jackson and trading for Khalil Mack – has fans believing that the team will be able to get that job done.
For Las Vegas, they’re riding high after bringing in Adams and reuniting him with Derek Carr. The two played together at Fresno State and have been hoping to suit up with one another again. Now, they’ve gotten their wish.
Jackson will be ready to turn things into a nightmare whenever the Chargers and Raiders square off. Jackson himself is one of the top cornerbacks in the game. He might have his hands full with Adams, but he’ll be ready for the challenge. When the Chargers and Raiders meet for the first time in 2022, it will be must-see television.
